Well, NPR said it, so it must be true.  Work on the Phoenix has begun.  The unfortunate thing about development projects, and probably most projects is that even when work begins, it doesn’t look like much is happening.  Actually, it looks like nothing is happening.  So, I’m here to tell you what’s taking place until you can actually see some progress, and I’ll tell you about that too!  By the way, if you’re looking for real construction knowledge … this isn’t where you’ll find it.  This is just a lay persons observations.  If you want real construction advice, show up at a construction site about 6am one day with some Paula’s Donuts and pick the guys (and gals) in hardhats brains for a few minutes. They’re the real experts. Me … I’m just a marketing person who likes old buildings (and my job).
