    Junior Staff Accountant

    Sinatra & Company Real Estate, LLC is looking to hire Jr. Staff Accountant. Seeking a Full Time (40 hours per week) Jr. Staff Accountant for the Corporate Office, reporting to the VP of Finance, this position is responsible for all accounting activities for the assigned Sinatra & Company RE properties.

    Main duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

    • Asist in the administration of the Sinatra & Company Accounts Payable process(s), to include accuracy of GL posting accounts, check runs and AP to GL reconciliations.
    • Primary point person for Urgent & Emergency Check requests
    • Assist in maintaining the Purchase Order Processing system.
    • Calculate Commercial Tenant CAM charges in accordance with lease terms.
    • Responsible for the overall input/payment/allocation of Real Estate Taxes, Business Insurance and Management Fees.
    • Maintain the Fixed Asset and associated Depreciation schedules on the FA software.
    • Prepare and maintain supporting Work papers for assigned General Ledger accounts.
    • Work with internal and external business partners; Sinatra property management, executive team and outside auditors.
    • Assist on all Special Projects assigned by the VP of Finance or CFO

    To be considered for the Staff Accountant position, candidates MUST meet the following qualifications:

    • Proficient in an ERP Accounting software, Yardi Voyager highly desirable.
    • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and 2 years of related experience.
    • Previous Accounting experience in a real estate environment a plus.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously is essential.
    • Able to perform moderate to complex account reconciliations.
    • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy with the insight to coordinate priorities efficiently.
    • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
    • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
    • Full time position with hours compensate with the business needs of the organization, ideally 8am-5pm.
